© 2020 The Authors. Published by Elsevier B.V.The method of transcranial magnetic stimulation (TMS) is being widely applied for curing various diseases-the Alzheimer disease, for instance. It is the safest way of non-invasive effects directly on the human brain due to the high permea-bility of an alternating magnetic field and painlessness. It also proves efficient for development of cognitive patters of human brain-such as learning languages, memory improvement, etc. The Department of Engineering Science and Technol-ogy of MEPhI presents principles of development of a new mobile TMS-system. The objective of the system is to provide the possibilities of the TMS-method for more patients not only at clinics, but at home. The purpose of the development is to provide the possibility of TMS therapy not only in stationary conditions of polyclinics and special treatment centers where special personnel and bulky equipment would be required, but also at home, using a portable device without special skills. We describe the main parts of such a system and pay special atten-tion to the problem of application of new conductive materials for development of a mobile device.
