- ПубликацияТолько метаданныеSearch for an exotic S =-2, Q =-2 baryon resonance in proton-proton interactions at root S-N(N)=17.3 GeV(2020) Aduszkiewicz, A.; Andronov, E. V.; Anticic, T.; Babkin, V.; Brandin, A.; Golosov, O.; Kargin, N.; Kashirin, E.; Morozov, S.; Selyuzhenkov, I.; Strikhanov, M.; Taranenko, A.; Брандин, Андрей Владимирович; Голосов, Олег Владимирович; Каргин, Николай Иванович; Стриханов, Михаил Николаевич; Тараненко, Аркадий ВладимировичPentaquark states have been extensively investigated theoretically in the context of the constituent quark model. In this paper results of an experimental search for pentaquarks in the Xi(-) pi(-), Xi(-) pi(+), (Xi) over bar (+) pi(-) and (Xi) over bar (+) pi(+) invariant mass spectra in proton-proton interactions at root s = 17.3 GeV are presented. Previous possible evidence from the NA49 collaboration of the existence of a narrow Xi(-) pi(-) baryon resonance in p + p interactions is not confirmed with almost 10 times greater event statistics. The search was performed using the NA61/SHINE detector which reuses the main components of the NA49 apparatus. No signal was observed with either the selection cuts of NA49 or newly optimized cuts.
- ПубликацияТолько метаданныеMeasurements of Ξ (1530) and Ξ ¯ (1530) production in proton–proton interactions at √sNN = 17.3 GeV in the NA61/SHINE experiment(2021) Acharya, A.; Adhikary, H.; Allison, K. K.; Amin, N.; Brandin, A.; Golosov, O.; Kargin, N.; Kashirin, E.; Morozov, S.; Selyuzhenkov, I.; Strikhanov, M.; Taranenko, A.; Брандин, Андрей Владимирович; Голосов, Олег Владимирович; Каргин, Николай Иванович; Стриханов, Михаил Николаевич; Тараненко, Аркадий Владимирович© 2021, The Author(s).Double-differential yields of Ξ (1530) and Ξ ¯ (1530) resonances produced in p+p interactions were measured at a laboratory beam momentum of 158 GeV/c. This measurement is the first of its kind in p+p interactions below LHC energies. It was performed at the CERN SPS by the NA61/SHINE collaboration. Double-differential distributions in rapidity and transverse momentum were obtained from a sample of 26 × 10 6 inelastic events. The spectra are extrapolated to full phase space resulting in mean multiplicity of Ξ (1530) (6.73 ± 0.25 ± 0.67) × 10 - 4 and Ξ ¯ (1530) (2.71 ± 0.18 ± 0.18) × 10 - 4. The rapidity and transverse momentum spectra and mean multiplicities were compared to predictions of string-hadronic and statistical model calculations.
- ПубликацияТолько метаданныеProton-proton interactions and onset of deconfinement(2020) Aduszkiewicz, A.; Andronov, E. V.; Anticic, T.; Babkin, V.; Brandin, A.; Golosov, O.; Kargin, N.; Kashirin, E.; Morozov, S.; Selyuzhenkov, I.; Strikhanov, M.; Taranenko, A.; Брандин, Андрей Владимирович; Голосов, Олег Владимирович; Каргин, Николай Иванович; Стриханов, Михаил Николаевич; Тараненко, Аркадий ВладимировичThe experiment of the NA61/SHINE Collaboration at the CERN SPS is performing a unique study of the phase diagram of strongly interacting matter by varying collision energy and nuclear mass number of colliding nuclei. In central Pb + Pb collisions, the experiment of the NA49 Collaboration found structures in the energy dependence of several observables in the energy range of the CERN SPS that had been predicted for the transition to a deconfined phase. New measurements of the NA61/SHINE Collaboration find intriguing similarities in p + p interactions for which no deconfinement transition is expected at the energies of the SPS. Possible implications will be discussed.
- ПубликацияТолько метаданныеHidden strangeness shines in NA61/SHINE(2019) Klochkov, V.; Selyuzhenkov, I.; Aduszkiewicz, A.; Andronov, E. V.; Brandin, A.; Golosov, O.; Kargin, N.; Kashirin, E.; Morozov, S.; Strikhanov, M.; Taranenko, A.; Брандин, Андрей Владимирович; Голосов, Олег Владимирович; Каргин, Николай Иванович; Стриханов, Михаил Николаевич; Тараненко, Аркадий ВладимировичPreliminary results on the phi (1020) meson production in inelastic proton-proton collisions measured by the NA61/SHINE experiment at the CERN SPS are presented in these proceedings. The results include the first ever differential P-T and y measurements at beam momenta of 40 and 80 GeV and the most ever detailed experimental data at 158 GeV. The comparison of p + p to Pb + Pb results shows a non-trivial system size dependence of the widths of the rapidity distributions for phi mesons, contrasting with that of other hadrons. The results are furthermore compared to the world data on phi meson production, demonstrating the better accuracy achieved by the NA61/SHINE experiment, and to several models. None of the models is found to be able to describe simultaneously the shape of transverse momentum spectra, the shape of rapidity distribution and the total yield.
- ПубликацияТолько метаданныеTwo-particle correlations in azimuthal angle and pseudorapidity in central 7Be + 9Be collisions at the CERN Super Proton Synchrotron(2020) Aduszkiewicz, A.; Andronov, E. V.; Anticic, T.; Babkin, V.; Brandin, A.; Golosov, O.; Kargin, N.; Kashirin, E.; Morozov, S.; Selyuzhenkov, I.; Strikhanov, M.; Taranenko, A.; Брандин, Андрей Владимирович; Голосов, Олег Владимирович; Каргин, Николай Иванович; Стриханов, Михаил Николаевич; Тараненко, Аркадий Владимирович© 2020, The Author(s).A measurement of charged hadron pair correlations in two-dimensional Δ ηΔ ϕ space is presented. The analysis is based on total 30 million central Be + Be collisions observed in the NA61/SHINE detector at the CERN SPS for incident beam momenta of 19A, 30A, 40A, 75A, and 150A Ge/c. Measurements were carried out for unlike-sign and like-sign charge hadron pairs independently. The C(Δ η, Δ ϕ) correlation functions were compared with results from a similar analysis on p + p interactions at similar beam momenta per nucleon. General trends of the back-to-back correlations are similar in central Be + Be collisions and p + p interactions, but are suppressed in magnitude due to the increased combinatorial background. Predictions from the Epos and UrQMD models are compared to the measurements. Evolution of an enhancement around (Δ η, Δ ϕ) = (0 , 0) with incident energy is observed in central Be + Be collisions. It is not predicted by both models and almost non-existing in proton–proton collisions at the same momentum per nucleon.
- ПубликацияТолько метаданныеExploring time like tranistions in pp, pi p and AA reactions with HADES(2020) Salabura, P.; Adamczewski-Musch, J.; Arnoldi-Meadows, B.; Belounnas, A.; Golosov, O.; Morozov, S.; Selyuzhenkov, I.; Голосов, Олег ВладимировичRadiative transition of an excited baryon to a nucleon with emission of a virtual massive photon converting to dielectron pair (Dalitz decays) provides important information about baryon-photon coupling at low q(2) in timelike region. A prominent enhancement in the respective electromagnetic transition FormFactors (etFF) at q(2) near vector mesons rho/omega poles has been predicted by various calculations reflecting strong baryon-vector meson couplings. The understanding of these couplings is also of primary importance for the interpretation of the emissivity of QCD matter studied in heavy ion collisions via dilepton emission. Dedicated measurements of baryon Dalitz decays in proton-proton and pion-proton scattering with HADES detector at GSI/FAIR are presented and discussed. The relevance of these studies for the interpretation of results obtained from heavy ion reactions is elucidated on the example of the HADES results.
- ПубликацияТолько метаданныеMeasurements of production and inelastic cross sections for p plus C, p plus Be, and p + Al at 60 GeV/c and p plus C and p + Be at 120 GeV/c(2019) Aduszkiewicz, A.; Andronov, E. V.; Anticic, T.; Babkin, V.; Brandin, A. V.; Golosov, O.; Kargin, N.; Kashirin, E.; Morozov, S.; Selyuzhenkov, I.; Strikhanov, M.; Taranenko, A.; Брандин, Андрей Владимирович; Голосов, Олег Владимирович; Каргин, Николай Иванович; Стриханов, Михаил Николаевич; Тараненко, Аркадий ВладимировичThis paper presents measurements of production cross sections and inelastic cross sections for the following reactions: 60 GeV/c protons with C, Be, Al targets and 120 GeV/c protons with C and Be targets. The analysis is performed using the NA61/SHINE spectrometer at the CERN Super Proton Synchrotron. First measurements are obtained using protons at 120 GeV/c, while the results for protons at 60 GeV/c are compared with previously published measurements. These interaction cross section measurements are critical inputs for neutrino flux prediction in current and future accelerator-based long-baseline neutrino experiments.

- ПубликацияТолько метаданныеK∗(892) meson production in inelastic p+p interactions at 40 and 80 GeV/c beam momenta measured by NA61/SHINE at the CERN SPS(2022) Acharya, A.; Adhikary, H.; Allison, K. K.; Amin, N.; Brandin, A.; Golosov, O.; Kargin, N.; Kashirin, E.; Selyuzhenkov, I.; Strikhanov, M.; Taranenko, A.; Брандин, Андрей Владимирович; Голосов, Олег Владимирович; Каргин, Николай Иванович; Стриханов, Михаил Николаевич; Тараненко, Аркадий Владимирович© 2022, The Author(s).Measurements of K∗(892) resonance production via its K+π- decay mode in inelastic p+p collisions at beam momenta 40 and 80 GeV/c (sNN=8.8 and 12.3 GeV) are presented. The data were recorded by the NA61/SHINE hadron spectrometer at the CERN Super Proton Synchrotron. The template method was used to extract the K∗(892) signal. Transverse momentum and rapidity spectra were obtained. The mean multiplicities of K∗(892) mesons were found to be (35.1 ± 1.3 (stat) ± 3.6 (sys)) · 10 - 3 at 40 GeV/c and (58.3 ± 1.9 (stat) ± 4.9 (sys)) · 10 - 3 at 80 GeV/c. The NA61/SHINE results are compared with the Epos1.99 and Hadron Resonance Gas models as well as with world data. The transverse mass spectra of K∗(892) mesons and other particles previously reported by NA61/SHINE were fitted within the Blast-Wave model. The transverse flow velocities are close to 0.1–0.2 of the speed of light and are significantly smaller than the ones determined in heavy nucleus-nucleus interactions at the same beam momenta.
- ПубликацияТолько метаданныеOpen charm measurements in NA61/SHINE at CERN SPS(2019) Staszel, P.; Aduszkiewicz, A.; Andronov, E. V.; Anticic, T.; Brandin, A. V.; Golosov, O.; Kargin, N.; Kashirin, E.; Morozov, S.; Strikhanov, M.; Taranenko, A.; Брандин, Андрей Владимирович; Голосов, Олег Владимирович; Каргин, Николай Иванович; Стриханов, Михаил Николаевич; Тараненко, Аркадий ВладимировичThe measurements of open charm production was proposed as an important tool to investigate the properties of the hot and dense matter formed in nucleus-nucleus collisions as well as to provide the means for model independent interpretation of the existing data on J/Psi suppression. Recently, the experimental setup of the NA61/SHINE experiment was supplemented with a Vertex Detector which was motivated by the importance and the possibility of the first direct measurements of open charm meson production in heavy ion collisions at SPS energies. First test data taken in December 2016 on Pb+Pb collisions at 150A GeV/c allowed to validate the general concept of D-0 meson detection via its D-0 -> pi(+) + K- decay channel and delivered a first indication of open charm production. The physics motivation of open charm measurements at SPS energies, pilot results on open charm production, and finally, the future plans of open charm measurements in the NA61/SHINE experiment after LS2 are presented.
