Published by Elsevier B.V.Brain-Computer Interface (BCI) is a modern and progressive technology for controlling robotic devices. They are broadly applicable in various fields of robotics and information technologies, where alternative methods of controlling electronic devices are used (for example, medical robotics, development of virtual reality applications, game industry, etc.). The most common ways to implement BCI control commands are mental images, evoked potentials, and facial expressions. Compared to other methods, mental images are difficult to perform because of the need to perform an intensified mental activity and concentrate strongly on their execution. At the same time, mental images provide the operator with a promising opportunity to control the robot without performing any physical movements (compared to facial expressions usage) and without using additional equipment for stimuli representation (as is the case of evoked potentials). Therefore, it is necessary to conduct research on various aspects of working with mental images, such as the use of various types of mental images, the impact on the work of distractions, the operator's preliminary training technique, etc., to improve the user experience of using them and the quality of device control via such way of control. In this paper, we consider use mental images of different types as BCI control commands-visual, sound, kinesthetic. Performing of these commands is involving various parts of the brain. The quality of the operator's work with these types of mental images is evaluated, including the quality of mental images recognition by the BCI, as well as the time spent by the operator on their execution.

A.; Дюмин, Александр Александрович© 2020 IEEE.In the paper ad-hoc protocol for distributed object search by multi-Agent robotic system in urban environment are described. For this purpose, exploration and mapping process by the muti-Agent drone system has been discussed and appropriate algorithms has been analyzed. Based on this, communication model for the system was proposed and ad-hoc protocol for communication between drones has been developed.

A.; Дюмин, Александр Александрович© 2020 IEEE.Fibre Channel (FC) is the protocol that is used for high-speed data transfer without loss and corruption of data blocks. It is commonly used in the Storage Area Networks. The Port State Machine is used to synchronization the connected FC-ports. This paper propose Broadcom switch FC-ports states analysis based on the Port Log Dumps. Log analysis allows to restore FC-ports state changing history and detect errors.

In general, this task can be considered as overlapping of the two main subtask—multi-agent simultaneous localization and mapping (SLAM) and the multi-agent search for the objects or places of interests. In the paper, existing solutions has been analyzed and actual areas of work has been revealed.

A.; Liman, D. A.; Чугунков, Илья Владимирович; Дюмин, Александр Александрович; Максутов, Артем Артурович© 2017 IEEE. This paper is devoted to pseudo-random number (PRN) generator testing. The main evaluation systems of statistical properties of pseudo-random sequences formed by PRN generator are considered in the scope of this work. Weaknesses of such systems and ways of tests bypassing were revealed. The example of improving statistical properties of generator through adding statistical randomizer is given. We also propose approach to increasing efficiency of evaluation systems of statistical security of stochastic algorithms based on the usage of artificial neural networks.

A.; Чугунков, Илья Владимирович; Дюмин, Александр Александрович© 2017 IEEE. Mobile robotic systems became essential part of our daily life. They can interact with humans as valued helpers, sometimes in relatively sophisticated tasks, which makes it necessary to record as much information as possible about robotic device activities. But if common approaches are used for data fixation in storage system, some portions of the data can be lost due to network constraints and/or robotic device failures. The paper discusses the log service architecture that provides reliable log delivery to the central storage from distributed heterogeneous mobile robotic nodes. Proposed log system consists of logical entities performing log buffering at robotic nodes, log transfer and centralized log data storage. Variety of log data types, generated by robotic nodes, are discussed, as well as the peculiarities of data storage. The necessity of data transmission between nodes is emphasized and the log data transmission algorithm is described.

Y.; Cherepanov, A. V.; Voznenko, T. I.; Dyumin, A. A.; Gridnev, A. A.; Chepin, E. V.; Кудрявцев, Константин Яковлевич; Возненко, Тимофей Игоревич; Дюмин, Александр Александрович; Гриднев, Александр Александрович; Чепин, Евгений Валентинович© 2019, Springer Nature Switzerland AG. There is a growth in adoption of multi-channel (tactile, voice, gesture, brain-computer interface, etc.) control systems for mobile robots that help to improve its reliability. But, a complex control system requires a large number of tests to determine the quality of operation. Hence, multi-channel control systems are subjects of rigorous testing process for estimation of the number of successful command recognitions and the number of errors. The more tests will be conducted, the more accurate evaluation of the control channel quality will be. However, in most cases, carrying out the tests is expensive and time-consuming. Therefore, it is necessary to determine the minimum number of tests required to evaluate channel control quality with a given significance level. In this paper we propose a technique for determining the minimum required number of tests. Experimental results of evaluating the multichannel control system of the mobile robotic wheelchair using this technique are presented.

A.; Дюмин, Александр Александрович© 2019 IEEE.In many spheres of human activities, such as manufacture and warehouse automation or public transport systems, people's life and health rely on distributed robot networks. To provide these systems reliability in single-node failure situation, log-data replication task should be solved in environment with limited resources and unstable links. This paper describes possible approach to network traffic minimization by adaptive choice of data replication nodes. This approach is based on nodes reliability information and real-time inter-node connection parameters.

V.; Петрова, Алёна Игоревна; Возненко, Тимофей Игоревич; Дюмин, Александр Александрович; Гриднев, Александр Александрович; Чепин, Евгений Валентинович© 2019, Springer Nature Switzerland AG. Nowadays, BCI (brain-computer interface) is a perspective human-machine interaction method with a lot of usage concepts, but many practical aspects should be investigated before it can be used in a broader scale. For example, one should spent a lot of time on training, before he or she can achieve sufficient control accuracy through BCI. Moreover, when one is working with BCI, an important factor is distraction that can have a negative impact on training, and then, subsequently, on the quality of control through it. Such factors can occur in normal conditions of BCI usage – that’s why they are need to be taken into account. Distractions can be represented by different external impacts on the operator’s channels of the perception (such as auditory impacts, visual impacts, etc.) or operator’s own internal state. In this paper, we propose the method and software framework for evaluating control quality using BCI in the presence of distracting factors. Also we researched influence of some of them on quality of BCI usage.
