© 2020, Pleiades Publishing, Ltd.Abstract: This paper is devoted to the investigation of the effect of nitrogen and carbon content, as well as different temperatures of isothermal holding,—on the structural-phase state evolution of the quenched low-activation 12% chromium ferritic–martensitic steel. Basic temperature ranges within which the structural-phase state of the quenched steel changes upon heating have been found using the differential scanning calorimetry technique. Correlations between changes in the fine atomic structure of steel and structural-phase transformations during isothermal heating have been established by Mössbauer spectroscopy.
