All rights reserved.A method is proposed for remote detection of leaks of productive hydrocarbons from underground main pipelines. The method involves impact on the soil adjacent to the tubing route by the acoustic field of the ultrasonic wave, at which its intensive degassing takes place accompanied by gas evolution from the surface of the earth. In parallel with the process of exposure, a chromatographic analysis of the composition of the released gas is carried out. It is described a device that realizes this method of detecting leaks of productive hydrocarbons associated with local tub damage. The technical solution of the device assumes the presence of an ultrasonic magnetostrictive radiator with power consumption ~ kW and an acoustic waveguide, with which the ultrasonic wave is directed to the earth’s surface. A description is given of an ultrasonic radiator based on a magnetostrictor with a toroidal core, made in the form of an assembly of permangled plates. A small-size chromatograph of a batch production can be used in the apparatus complex. Dimensions and weight of the whole equipment complex allows its placement on a Gazel type vehicle. The results of field tests of the proposed method and the equipment that implements it are given. By their results, one can judge the effectiveness of the proposed method and the hardware complex.

The formulas allowing to estimate power density of an acoustic wave and its attenuation coefficient are received. Experimentally by three independent neutron logging methods, the acoustic effect effectiveness was shown to increase the bottomhole zone permeability. The experiments were conducted on oil facilities in Tatarstan and Western Siberia. The estimated data on the threshold intensity of the ultrasonic emitter in the well and depth of the effective acoustic impact on the oil reservoir are given. For high accelerating voltages, diodes with magnetic insulation are used to suppress electron emission from the cathode in neutron accelerator tubes. A mathematical model describing the dynamics of charged particles in the axial diode with insulation of electrons by the field of a permanent magnet is studied. The model is used to perform a computer experiment that shows a reduction of insulation near the ends of the magnet, which permits up to 40% of the electrons from the cathode to reach the anode of the accelerator tube. An option for making the magnetic insulation more efficient by adding into the magnetic system diaphragms placed in the end zones of a cylindrical cathode is proposed and studied.

L.; Шиканов, Александр Евгеньевич; Вовченко, Евгений Дмитриевич; Козловский, Константин Иванович; Шатохин, Вадим ЛеонидовичThe acceleration of a plasmoid, for the formation of which a conical spiral expanding in the direction of the expected plasma acceleration is used, in a rapidly increasing magnetic field of complex geometry has been considered. An algorithm for calculating the longitudinal magnetic field in the approximation of replacing a spiral line with a system of rings of variable radius has been presented. A mathematical model that is based on the interaction of the plasmoid magnetic moment with gradient of the longitudinal magnetic field decay has been proposed to analyze the efficiency of the acceleration. The possibility of deuterons reaching an average speed exceeding 10(6) m/s has been shown.

Computer analysis of the previously developed diode systems with magnetic insulation has shown that the suppression ratio does not exceed 50%. The proposed new options of suppression systems used the current ring and diaphragm, located near the edge of the cylindrical anode. Computer analysis showed that for these acceleration geometries the suppression factor could exceed 97%.

The method of control of such unprocessed oil stratum restoring is proposed. It uses well neutron generator with vacuum accelerating tube and neutron reagent method with pumping of neutron absorbing salt solution to stratum. The results of its successful testing are presented.

The velocity of ions for a number of elements which significantly differ in atomic weight are obtained on the basis of collector measurements. The maximum velocity of both light (lithium) and heavy (lead) ions exceed the value of 108 cm/s; for ions of lead, the corresponding energy amounts to a value of ∼1 MeV. A mathematical model of ion acceleration is proposed and simulation results are compared with the experiment.

The obtained results show that there are conditions under which macroscopic particles are captured and accelerated by the plasma flow.
