    The goal of this study is to answer the main question left unanswered by the authors of work [1]: which law do the statistical distributions of aggregated traffic measurements obey? It has been shown that the distributions that can be approximated with high accuracy by a lognormal or by a sum of two lognormal distributions, depending on the observation period, are formed when traffic measurements are aggregated.

    © 2019, Pleiades Publishing, Ltd. Abstract: The stability of choosing the decommissioning option for objects of atomic energy use (OAEU) is analyzed. An algorithm for studying changes in the factor values due to variations in the OAEU characterization parameters is described. Numerical examples are presented which implement the proposed schemes for calculating indicators, determining the most preferable options of OAEU decommissioning, and analyzing the stability of the decision of choosing the OAEU decommissioning option with possible factor values.

    Geometry database for the CBM experiment

Use permitted under Creative Commons License Attribution 4.0 International (CC BY 4.0).The last improvements and updates of the Geometry Database (Geometry DB) for the CBM (Compressed Baryonic Matter) experiment are described. The geometry DB is an information system that supports the CBM geometry. The main purpose of the Geometry DB is to provide a storage of the CBM geometry and convenient tools for managing geometry modules assembling various versions of the CBM setup as a combination of geometry modules and additional files. There must be functionality to support different versions of the CBM setup. The ability of setup versions is added. A set of corresponding tools, i.e. a graphical user interface (GUI) and an application programming interface (API), was implemented. Users do not always require regular updates of local CBMRoot from the version control system to solve their tasks (such as simulation or reconstruction). The main goal of the new functionality is to automatically select the setup version when loading the geometry corresponding to the current user environment.

    © 2021, Pleiades Publishing, Ltd.Abstract: We showed earlier that, when aggregating network traffic measurements, starting from a certain aggregation window, a stable distribution is formed, which is approximated with a high accuracy by a lognormal law. Despite the fact that, in general, the results of network traffic measurements agree with this law, in the region of the small values of traffic intensity and transmission rate of network packets, there is a noticeable discrepancy between this law and the measurements. In this study, we discuss the problem of a peak arising in the low-intensity region during the aggregation of network traffic measurements. Taking into account the location of the peak in question, we called it the “zero channel” (ZC)

    © 2021, The Author(s), under exclusive license to Springer Nature Switzerland AG.The problem of the reconstruction of a multivariable function whose values with chaotic errors are given at a finite number of points is considered in the paper. The problems of this kind arise when solving applied problems in various fields of research, including physics, engineering, economics, etc. We propose a new approach for solving this problem with the help of a metric analysis. The paper gives numerical two examples of the solution of the problem of the reconstruction of multivariable function, demonstrating the effectiveness of the proposed scheme. In the first example, the results of estimating the exact value of the function at the points where the values of the function with errors are known, in the second example, the results of reconstructing the physical characteristics of the core of a nuclear reactor are presented.

    MISSING MASS METHOD for SHORT-LIVED PARTICLE RECONSTRUCTION in the CBM and STAR EXPERIMENTS

    © 2021 CEUR-WS. All rights reserved.The search for short-lived particles is an important part of physics research in experiments with relativistic heavy ions. To find, select and study the properties of such short-lived particles in real time in the CBM experiment (FAIR/GSI, Germany), we have developed a package of algorithms, KF Particle Finder, which contains a search for more than 150 decay channels. The decays of short-lived charged particles, when one of the daughter particles is neutral and cannot be registered in the detector system, are also of great physics interest. To find and study such decays, we have extended the KF Particle Finder package by implementing the missing mass method, which is based on the conservation of energy and momentum laws. The method was studied in detail on simulated data of the CBM experiment, showing high efficiency with a large signal-to-background ratio, as well as high significance. As part of the FAIR Phase-0 program, the KF Particle Finder package of algorithms has been adapted for online and offline processing in the STAR experiment (BNL, USA). Here we describe and discuss in detail the missing mass method for finding and analyzing short-lived particles. The features of the application of the method to both simulated data in the CBM experiment and in the STAR experiment as part of real-time express data processing, as well as the results of the real-time reconstruction of short-lived particle decays in the BES-II environment of the STAR experiment, are given.

    В статье рассматривается задача применения деревьев решений и их ансамблей (лесов решений) в задаче классификации кредитных организаций, как объектов экономической безопасности. Хотя деревья решений и их ансамбли успешно применяются в банковском секторе, для автоматизированной идентификации неблагонадежных кредитных организаций деревья решений и их ансамбли ранее не использовались. Классификация кредитных организаций проводилась на основе формы банковской отчетности № 101. В результате проведенного анализа были выделены ключевые показатели деятельности кредитных организаций, а именно «Прибыль», «Счета в Банке России», «Ценные бумаги». С учетом этих показателей для модели CART была получена точность классификации, составившая 85 %. Для моделей Random Forest, Adaboost и Xgboost использовались все 23 показателя финансовой отчетности (форма 101), а достигнутая при этом точность составила 83, 80 и 80 %, соответственно, решена актуальная научно-практическая задача – разработаны математические модели, позволяющие идентифицировать высокорисковые кредитные организации и прогнозировать риски отзыва у них лицензий. В ходе их применения идентифицирован список потенциально неблагонадежных кредитных организаций, на которые рекомендуется обратить пристальное внимание органам государственной власти.
