    Overview of Five Techniques Used for Security and Privacy Insurance in Smart Cities

    © Published under licence by IOP Publishing Ltd.Digitization and technological transformation in providing various services have become a goal for many countries in light of the current digital revolution to implement the concept of a smart city. Given the great importance of the smart city concept by researchers, the overriding concern is how to maintain data security and user privacy. These two criteria can or directly represent the strengths and weaknesses of such technology projects. This paper included a comprehensive study of the smart city, its concept and components. The research also included a detailed study of the most important applications included in smart city services and their working mechanisms and uses. The diversity of applications and services provided under the smart city environment is proof of the importance of this model. The paper also reviewed the security risks of data in all stages of work, data collection, data transfer and processing. Finally, the paper reviewed the five most important technologies used in a smart city to maintain information security and data privacy, their advantages, their internal methodology and algorithms. In the end, this paper aims to give a clear picture of all the details of the smart city and the technologies used for the purpose of ensuring information security and data privacy.

    About Asymmetric Execution of the Asymmetric ElGamal Cipher

    © 2020 IEEE.The paper continues the consideration of the concept of asymmetrically executable cryptosystems (ciphers), introduced by A. A. Varfolomeev at the SibCon 2016 and RusCrypto 2018 conferences, as applied to the ElGamal asymmetric cipher. These cryptosystems (ciphers) significantly increase the difficulty for an attacker to recover plain text with various regulatory restrictions on the size of cryptographic keys. A method for transforming a classical asymmetric cipher into an asymmetrically executable is proposed.

    Extended Classification of Signature-only Signature Models

    © 2021 IEEE.In this paper, we extend the existing classification of signature models by Cao. To do so, we present a new signature classification framework and migrate the original classification to build an easily extendable faceted signature classification. We propose 20 new properties, 7 property families, and 1 signature classification type. With our classification, theoretically, up to 11 541 420 signature classes can be built, which should cover almost all existing signature schemes.

    Secure-reliable smart contract applications based blockchain technology in smart cities environment

    Over time, our lives turn to digitization and technology and its multiple applications and uses. The smart city, its technologies and the services provided during it have become a way of life. The idea of smart cities relied on different mechanisms to provide reliable services. One of the important technologies is the blockchain that has proven to be extremely reliable and has a high security level technology. This paper presents a mechanism to explain the application of blockchain technology in smart contracts, how to increase reliability, data security, and many positive benefits as part of the multiple services provided by the smart city environment. This paper also provides important details about this technology and its impact on the overall administrative system of any service provided by smart governments. The paper dealt with an example of how to manage the real estate rental file electronically to explain the advantages of blockchain technology through which we overcome existing problems in this type of contract and service.
