Carp fry reared in ponds beginning from the larval stage was fed on live zooplankton which has been captured in river near the place of its outflow from the lake. The best out of the obtained results was rearing of 1830 kg/ha of young fish during 62 days (from June 4 to August 4) with average weight of 2.64 g. Average survival rate amounted to 47%. Density of 140 fry individuals per square meter is considered as optimal.
