dc.descriptionEine neue Corydoras-Art (Teleostei: Siluriformes: Callichthyidae) – Corydoras longipinnis sp. n. – aus dem río Dulce in Argentinien wird beschrieben. Artcharakteristisch sind (1) die kurze Schnauze (8,7–6,9 mal in sl, 2,3–1,9 mal in hl), (2) die Anzahl der Knochenplatten in der oberen (dbs) Längsreihe 21 (20–21), (3) die Anzahl der Knochenplatten in der unteren (vbs) Längsreihe 19 (18–20) und (4) die verlängerte Dorsale und Pectoralen der PP. Die Abgrenzung von züchterisch erzeugten langfl ossigen Corydoras cf. paleatus und die eventuelle Zuordnung zur Gattung Scleromystax GÜNTHER, 1864 werden diskutiert.
