| dc.description | The paper contains results of biological studies on the Antarctic icefish. The materials were collected within 1975-1979 from various regions of the Antarctica. Presented are: distribution of the species, analysis of two meristic characters (vertebrae and fin ray counts), and some biological features (growth, maturation, fecundity, feeding). Based on the results, several Antarctic icefish stocks and their taxonomic positions are described. The stocks are analysed in terms of their length and age distributions in several fishing seasons.; | |
