| dc.description | The cod annual food consumption as well as indices of gross food conversion were calculated, in weight and energy units, based upon mean daily coefficients for the years 1977-1981; the coefficients were arrived at by using Bajkov′s formula for cod in various age groups. The results obtained are compared with data reported by other authors, those obtained with different methods and for cod from different areas. The differences between the results obtained when using Bajkov′s formula and those involving a simple weight method are stressed. | |
