| dc.description | Nine populations of bream from the Vistula River, its tributaries, Vistula Lagoon, and certain dam reservoirs were compared in terms of their 8 meristic characters. The significance of differences between mean values of each character found for any two populations was tested by means of analysis of variance, while Student′s t test served to analyse the between-populations differences. The studies showed the differences between meristic characters to be insufficient for separating a population differing in several characters from the others. | |
