dc.description.abstract© 2020 The Authors. Published by Elsevier B.V.The need to change the structure of required skills for an information security (IS) professional is justified. The current state's specific features of insiders' activities and internal fraud issues are disclosed, the mainstream characteristics of developing technical IS maintenance systems involving user behavioral analysis are given, and the platform concept of security orchestration, automation and response is discussed. The importance of the human role in ensuring IS is shown. Some approaches to the behavior patterns assessment for ensuring IS are described. The article analyzes the experience of forming among students of MEPhI, studying in the field of IS, the skills of predicting the behavior of other people on the basis of data obtained using the The system of professional psychological testing program module in the framework of a specialized laboratory works.
