dc.description.abstract© 2020, Pleiades Publishing, Inc.Abstract—The kinematic theory of discrete klystron noise associated with the rectified voltage ripple of power sources is presented. The results of the theory are compared with experimental data and recommendations on the choice of the ripple coefficient are given.
