dc.description.abstract© 2020, Institute of Advanced Scientific Research, Inc. All rights reserved. The article describes the method of optimal selection of analytical and procedural models of typical information processes. The method allows selecting the models of typical information processes at the department-level of the organization and functional unit-level from the archive for storing typical models of the organization's operation category. The optimal selection method is applicable to organizations implementing information systems, and to archives storing models of typical information processes. The method allows for solving the problem of reducing the time spent on designing and modeling information systems and is used in the design technique of analytical and procedural models of information processes.
