dc.description.abstractThe paper shows the results of manufacturing of stamping tools for microforming operations. The tools and their main parts were obtained by different additive manufacturing technologies, from different materials (polymers and metals). A non-contact 3D scanning system was used to obtain metrological information on the accuracy of individual parts and assembly/subassembly. It was found that in order to match the dimensions of prototypes with the drawing dimensions and fall within the tolerance field, it is necessary to design the initial 3D model taking into account the peculiarities of 3D printing technology, mechanical processing, as well as the performance characteristics of the tool, which can be obtained from the results of wear tests.
