dc.description.abstractHfN nanoparticles exhibiting a tunable plasmonic feature in the near-IR were synthesized by laser ablation in liquids. A strong photothermal therapeutic effect yielding 100% cells death under 808 nm irradiation of nanoparticles was reported.
