dc.description.abstractThe results of investigation of detector made of cadmium zinc telluride (CdZnTe or CZT) crystal with a working volume of 1500 mm(3) are presented. The detector is shown to have good spectrometric characteristics in registering gamma radiation from Am-241, Co-57, Cs-137 and Co-60 sources and can be effectively used for low-background measurements.
