dc.description.abstractThe results of experiments on the study of the second harmonic generation in plasma of low-density cellulose triacetate targets are presented. Targets were irradiated using a neodymium glass laser at the nanosecond fundamental frequency. The data on the time sweep of the second harmonic generated in plasma are obtained. The features of the spectral and time distributions of the second harmonic radiation are discovered: with increasing the density, a maximum appears in the spectrum, and two maxima appear in the time dependence of the intensity.
