dc.description.abstract© 2020 Published under licence by IOP Publishing Ltd.The method of laser-induced forward transfer (LIFT) was applied for inactivation of pathogenic bacterial biofilms by metallic nanoparticles. The transparent substrate coated with the thin absorbing metal layer is irradiated form the back side with a laser that causes the nanoparticles transfer due to light-matter interaction. Variable laser beam parameters and the spacing between donor and the glass substrate affect parameters of transferred nanoparticles as well as their quantity.
