© 2020 IEEE.High precision real-time thermal stabilization device for coherent pumping systems of industrial solid-state lasers was developed to improve pumping efficiency. This device is based on a commercial microcontroller and it is fully controlled with a UART digital interface (universal asynchronous receiver-transmitter). The operating algorithm for this device which includes necessary protection mechanisms was also developed. Working with wide range of low time constant systems such as low and medium power laser diodes was provided by easy tuning through UART. The device provides operating with thermoelectric cooler amperage up to ±3A. The UART was chosen in order to allow the use of the device under automated control in complicated digital systems. It is a new digital solution which can be fully integrated into modern digital systems. The prototype was implemented and the main achieved results of its operating were illustrated.
