Аннотация
The multi-soliton collision is an important topic when the distance between solitons is very small. This work studies the dynamics of solitons in an optical system possessing third-order dispersion and nonlinearity. Through the Hirota’s bilinear method, exact three-soliton solutions of a third-order nonlinear Schrödinger equation are derived, and then, the interaction properties of those solitons are discussed. The presented results give an effective control scheme of three-solitons by adjusting the fiber parameters, which are significant for improving the transmission quality of optical soliton communication systems. © 2022, The Author(s), under exclusive licence to Springer Nature B.V.
