© 2018 The Forward Hadron Calorimeter for MPD/NICA experiment is discussed. This is a modular lead–scintillator compensating calorimeter designed to measure the energy distribution of the projectile nuclei fragments (spectators) and forward going particles close to the beam rapidity. The calorimeter consists of two equivalent arms placed left/right respective the beam collision point. The results of the tests with cosmic muons are presented.
