We conducted a comprehensive study of excitation dependent dipole-dipole interaction in dense rubidium gas using the resonant selective reflection of weak probe radiation from the dielectric-rubidium vapor interface. The excitation was created by the pump laser beam. The study involved exploring a diverse range of pumping radiation intensity and detuning for the number density of the rubidium vapour 2.8 ѓ? 10 16 cm -3 . We have measured experimental selective reflection spectra in both linear and nonlinear pumping modes.
