This study obtains straddled singular-bright optical solitons to cubic-quartic Lakshmanan-Porsezian-Daniel equation by Lie symmetry analysis. The reduced ordinary differential equations are handled using Kudryashov's method. (C) 2021 Elsevier B.V. All rights reserved.
