© 2020 IEEE.This article considers sites vulnerabilities that allow to limit access to the thematic content of a web resource that is available for users. Vulnerability scanning capabilities were analyzed using standard website scanning tools to check for some common vulnerabilities. It is shown that it is more difficult to find vulnerability in a hidden web resource than in an open resource. For this purpose, as part of the experiment, the possibility of using non-standard vulnerabilities of onion sites to restrict access to thematic content was tested. Conclusions are presented on the basis of the results obtained during the experiment, as well as further directions of the study.
