© 2020 IEEE.We developed the method of green synthesis of silver nanoparticles possessing by surface plasmon resonance. We showed that after light irradiation, particles were able to generate heat and to selectively kill HER2-overexpressing cells being non-toxic without irradiation. The developed cost-effective method of targeted silver nanoparticle synthesis can be considered as effective tool for designing cancer treatment strategies in vivo.
