In this paper, we systematize architectural and circuit design solutions applicable in the design of digital parts of multispeed transceivers of serial channels. Such variants of solutions, which allow using most of the possibilities of available technology for expanding this range, especially in its high-frequency part, are substantiated. The SpaceFibre multi-speed serial channel transceiver was designed by CMOS technology using the proposed solutions. The manufactured transceiver operates in the range of bit rates from 5 Mbps to 3.125 Gbps and, in terms of the set of measured parameters, is not inferior to the closest foreign analogs.
