dc.description.abstract© 2019 Elsevier GmbH Traveling wave reduction of the Kundu–Mukherjee–Naskar model for describing of the optical solitons is considered. Two first integrals for the system of equations are found. These first integrals are used to obtain the nonlinear second-order differential equation. The general solution of the second-order ordinary differential equation is found via the Weierstrass and Jacobi elliptic functions.
