S.; Mayorov, A. G.; Майоров, Андрей Георгиевич© 2021, Allerton Press, Inc.Abstract: A software package is developed for numerical calculations of particle trajectories in the Earth’s magnetosphere, and are given examples of its use in processing PAMELA experiment data. The particle-in-cell technique is applied according to the Buneman–Boris scheme. The approach is compared to other means of calculation often used to model the motion of charged particles in electromagnetic fields. The software package is tested by reproducing known effects of cosmic ray physics in the magnetosphere.

Numerous approaches exist to solve this problem; in particular, they are widely used in the modern physics of atomic nuclei and elementary particles, space physics, and other related areas. However, many algorithms are not designed or are poorly adapted to reconstruct multidimensional distributions corresponding to, e.g., several characteristics of particles measured simultaneously. In this work, a method has been proposed to adapt the singular value decomposition (SVD) unfolding algorithm to the multidimensional case. The proposed modified method has been tested in application to simulation data for the cosmic ray spectrum measured in the PAMELA space experiment. This method not only makes it possible to estimate the real distribution of a multidimensional quantity (momentum and two angles specifying the direction of entering a particle into an instrument) but also provides a better result compared to the classical SVD approach in the one-dimensional case (only the momentum of the p-article). © 2022, Pleiades Publishing, Inc.

These В«dark atomsВ», known as В«XHeВ» (X-helium) atoms, remain undiscovered in experiments due to their neutral atom-like states. In this model, the positive results of the DAMA/NaI and DAMA/LIBRA experiments could be explained by the annual modulation of radiative capture of XHe atoms engaging in low-energy bound states with sodium nuclei. This specific phenomenon does not occur under the conditions of other underground experiments. The proposed solution to this puzzle involves establishing the existence of a low-energy bound state of В«dark atomsВ» and nuclei while also considering the self-consistent influence of nuclear attraction and Coulomb repulsion. Resolving this complex issue, which has remained unsolved for the past 17 years, necessitates a systematic approach. To tackle this problem, numerical modeling is employed to uncover the fundamental processes behind the interaction of В«dark atomsВ» with nuclei. To comprehend the essence of XHe’s interaction with baryonic matter nuclei, a classical model is employed wherein quantum physics and nuclear size effects are progressively incorporated. A numerical model describing the interaction between XHe В«dark atomsВ» and nuclei is developed through the continuous inclusion of realistic features of quantum mechanics in the initial classical three-body problem involving the X-particle, the helium nucleus, and the target nucleus. This approach yields a comprehensive numerical model that encompasses nuclear attraction and electromagnetic interaction between the В«dark atomВ» and nuclei. Finally, this model aids in supporting the interpretation of the results obtained from direct underground dark matter experiments through the lens of the В«dark atomВ» hypothesis.

G.; Хлопов, Максим Юрьевич; Майоров, Андрей ГеоргиевичModels of highly inhomogeneous baryosynthesis of the baryonic asymmetric Universe allow for the existence of macroscopic domains of antimatter, which could evolve in a globular cluster of antimatter stars in our Galaxy. We assume the symmetry of the evolution of a globular cluster of stars and antistars based on the symmetry of the properties of matter and antimatter. Such object can be a source of a fraction of antihelium nuclei in galactic cosmic rays. It makes possible to predict the expected fluxes of cosmic antinuclei with use of known properties of matter star globular clusters We have estimated the lower cutoff energy for the penetration of antinuclei from the antimatter globular cluster, situated in halo, into the galactic disk based on the simulation of particle motion in the large-scale structure of magnetic fields in the Galaxy. We have estimated the magnitude of the magnetic cutoff for the globular cluster M4. © 2021 DMFA zaloznistvo. All rights reserved.

To solve such difficulties and restore distributions close to the true, a various mathematical approaches are used. In this paper, we examine the quality of unfolding methods for solving this problem. Different variants of unfolding are tested for the quality of restoring the true distribution by simulating the passage of cosmic ray particles through the PAMELA magnetic spectrometer. The following algorithms were analyzed: D'Agostini, SVD and TUnfold.
