S.; Кирко, Дмитрий Леонидович; Савёлов, Александр Сергеевич© Published under licence by IOP Publishing Ltd.Properties of the corona discharge containing a conic electrode were researched. The main modes and characteristics of this discharge were researched. There are current oscillations of the discharge within the range of 1 kHz - 150 MHz. Possible oscillation and wave processes are considered to explain these oscillations. Emergence of rotation motion when the discharge affects the dielectrics is being studied. The effect of this discharge on metal surface was explored.
- ПубликацияТолько метаданныеStudy of Near-Electrode Plasma and Electrode Surface During Discharges in Electrolytes(2020) Kirko, D. L.; Кирко, Дмитрий Леонидович© 2020, Pleiades Publishing, Ltd.Abstract—: The cathode plasma of a discharge in an electrolyte based on sodium carbonate and sodium hydroxide is studied as well as its interaction with the surface of electrolytes made from tungsten, tantalum, and titanium. The electrotechnical properties of the discharge are measured by spectral methods and the electron temperature of the near-cathode plasma is determined. When tungsten electrodes are used, 0.2–1.5-µm-diameter thread-like structures appear on their surface. Interaction with the discharge current destroys tantalum electrodes. On the surface of titanium electrodes, 1–40-µm-diameter sphere-like formations and areas of a porous surface with a pore diameter of 0.1–1 µm are observed. The mechanism of the formation of these surface structures is discussed.

S.; Кирко, Дмитрий Леонидович; Сидоров, Павел Павлович; Башутин, Олег Алексеевич; Савёлов, Александр СергеевичAbstract: The surface of metals after irradiation by intense flows of an argon plasma arising in a plasma focus has been studied. Steel, copper, tungsten, and molybdenum samples have been examined. Microstructures of different types have been detected. It has been found that the steel sample surfaces contain micropores 0.1‒3 μm in size with a shape close to round. On the copper and tungsten plate sample surfaces, the occurrence of finely dispersed structures 0.5‒20 μm in size has been observed. Possible mechanisms of the formation of these microstructures are discussed. © 2022, Pleiades Publishing, Ltd.
